Hey guys and gals as the subject heading says. I need some advice. Everytime I go to load a map in Battlefield 2142 it crashes and this is a real pain for me cause I havnt played it in a few months and im depserate to get back into it. Any ideas. Thanks

I have heard of this problem before a while back... All I can think of is reinstalling the game.  Before you try that actually, try deleting the "Battlefield 2142" folder in "My Documents" (or "Documents" if you are running Vista).  This will remove all your local settings such as controls, graphics optimizations, saved accounts, etc.  You will not lose any stats, don't worry .  If this doesn't work, do a reinstall and hope for luck.

And update punkbuster and dont let your firewall block things and patch the game to 1.5, but I think that was a bit silly answer from me =)

I'll try to get into a game with you when i get back home, I'm far up north in Norway at the moment, but i'll get back around the 14th of July.
