 I Just was trying to get people posting. Seemed like a fun way to generate intrest and give people a goal to shoot for. 

The last time any attention was paid to post counts, it resulted in some sort of horrible horrible post count padding competition.  

 Well I don't want spamming on the forum. Plus this isn't in anyway an official award. I was looking at how many user names we have on the website, we have almost 40 pages of member names that have never posted. 

Who said post spamming? All my posts have a clear point as you can see. I think if you look all the top posts are not just "lol" like others, they all have meaning. I wouldn't call that "spam".

I have noticed a competition for multiple posts since this next gen site came to be. I could care less how many "yeah cool" posts are out there. A post is not a post IMO if it doesnt ADD TO THE CONVERSATION.

What I don't like is when someone posts something that is relevant to a thread and it gets drilled down by "other posts". 

How about an award for people who are productive in the forums?

 Well I know I post a lot. I like to think that my posts add to rather than take away from the discussion or conversation. It was kinda of a big thing when the new site came out I was ahead of Agrona, Of course she crushed me. But it wasn't people like Agrona or Cutthroat I was trying to inspire. I was trying to inspire the ones with10-100 posts that read the forums but don't add in their knowledge,or their point of view. I don't want any one who is a member of the website feel their contribution is not worth while. If your afraid to post PM someone otherwise go for it, if you step out of bounds some will tell you. I guess what I'm saying is have fun with your Posts. 

 I guess what I like the most is someone like  Huzurdadi out of Wash. ST .He joined  Mon, Jan 7 2008 and he already has over 200 posts and he's asking question and having fun,and I hope learning something. That's what I want. If I am wrong someone in the command can delete my posts and say I'm spamming. I just wanted to have some fun and get people to post in the forums. 

I was writing an extensive post on what a spammer is and why I, and many others, are not spammers. Then I remembered the TAW motto from the meeting. "Save the drama for your momma." So I will not start going into drama about such an unnecessary topic.

Just to be clear, I wasn't trying to accuse anyone here of spamming. I just didn't want to inspire another episode like we once had. That got out of hand and annoying fast. 

 I'm not talking about anyone in this thread particularly. HudsonC, your posts have been really good and VERY informative.
